The Plastic Surgery team in action. We're reconstructing a patient using a skin graft who has a large soft tissue defect of the right ankle. The patient was sent to us from the US field hospital downtown. A concrete wall fell on his leg during the earth quake. Tammy is circulating, Sue dressing the donor site, Lori meshing the skin and Frank applying the graft.

Concha, a Spanish wound care nurse, is sterilizing a few of her instruments. In our LEAP plastic surgery operating room we use slightly less flamboyant methods of sterilization
