Emergency surgery to save a young mans leg, if not his life. We were just getting ready to leave for another hospital when we had an emergency operation to perform. A 28 year old policeman was hit by a car and has a fractured femur. The German orthopedic surgeons needed a surgical team to perform the surgery. In this photo Zig is giving the anesthetic, Lori is scrubbed, Tammy circulating, and Sue is providing traction on the leg. This is truly an international volunteer mission.
