Miracle 10 Sunscreen Approved by the Melanoma Network of Canada

When it comes to visible signs of aging, one of your skin’s worst enemies is the sun. UVA and UVB rays contribute to skin cell damage and accelerate normal aging processes, leading to uneven skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots. But beyond that, exposure to UVA and UVB rays can have a detrimental effect on the health of your skin—your body’s largest organ.

The Canadian Cancer society has noted that too many Canadians are choosing not to wear sunscreen, leading to a dangerous increase in skin cancer rates. Dr. Beatrice Wang, director of the melanoma clinic at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, says wearing sunscreen every day can help prevent the development of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. She recommends wearing sunscreen every day. Whether it’s sunny or overcast, your skin is still being affected by harmful UV rays. She also suggests applying a minimum of 1 tsp (approximately 5 mL) of sunscreen to the face alone. Protection all day is important, but it’s most important between 11 am and 4 pm. Wearing a hat and sunglasses to help protect from sun exposure is also a great idea.

Miracle 10 Skincare is proud to announce that one of their best selling products, Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30, has been approved by the Melanoma Network of Canada. In order to support public awareness, education, advocacy and research for melanoma, 5% of all sales will go towards funding their cause. By using Miracle 10 Sunscreen, you can not only protect your skin from damaging UV exposure, but you will also be supporting further research to help prevent skin cancer and help support those who are already battling it.

Miracle 10 is also proud to be the national sponsor of the Strides for Melanoma Walk for Awareness, a community fundraising and awareness event created by the Melanoma Network of Canada that takes place in cities all across the country. The first 500 registrants for this years Strides event will receive a free Miracle 10 Sunscreen. Proceeds raised by this event are crucial in allowing MNC to continue to provide and expand unique support services, create and deliver awareness and prevention education initiatives and support research and advocacy.

Drs. Lista and Ahmad prescribe the use of Miracle 10 skincare to their patients as part of their professional care.
