Butt Augmentation surgery usually takes 2 hours. For fat grafting (Brazilian Butt Lift) the first step is to perform the liposuction to collect the fat which will be used for butt augmentation. This procedure is associated with minimal to no scarring, as no large incisions are made. Tiny incisions are made in the skin where the liposuction and injection is performed.

During the Buttock Implant procedure, two cuts are made on the inside of the buttock area. A space is created underneath the skin and muscle where the implant is place. Following surgery, you may have drains that will remain in place until the surgeon determines that it is safe to have them removed. Following Butt Augmentation, you should avoid applying direct pressure on the buttock area for 2 weeks. This means that you should not sit. You can stand, walk, lie down, but should avoid sitting directly on the healing area.
