Most brow lift procedures are performed at The Plastic Surgery Clinic. The Plastic Surgery Clinic is a new state of the art surgical facility built from the ground up and completed in 2007. It meets and exceeds national, provincial and municipal standards for health care facilities providing general anesthesia. The Clinic is licensed as an Independent Health Facility by the Ontario Ministry of Health for the provision of insured services. The clinic meets and even exceeds hospital standards in such important areas as equipment quality and infection control standards.  

Dr. Lista is Past Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Trillium Health Center (The Mississauga Hospital) so your forehead lift operation can also be performed at the hospital if you prefer. The operation is performed either at our clinic or in the hospital. Your operation may be performed under local anesthesia with sedation or under general anesthesia. The Plastic Surgery Clinic is a “Specialist Only” clinic so general anesthetics are administered by specialist physicians who are board certified in the specialty of anesthesia. These doctors give our Toronto brow lift patients the anesthetic, stay with the patients during the entire operation and are with the patients while they are waking up. The operation takes about two hours. A friend or relative will need to come and pick you up and stay with you for 24 hours.
