In the days following surgery, when your face is bruised and swollen, it might be easy to forget that your physical appearance will improve. It is quite normal and understandable that many Toronto nose surgery patients may feel depressed for a while after plastic surgery. Your appearance will gradually improve with each passing day, and within a week or two you will no longer look as if you've just had surgery. Keep in mind that healing is a slow and gradual process and the final results of rhinoplasty may not be apparent for a year or more.

They may not see a major difference in your nose or they may act resentful, especially if you've changed something they view as a family or ethnic trait. If this happens, you might have to remind yourself of the goals you had going into surgery and recognize that you did this for yourself, not to please your friends or family.
