Dr. Ahmad's approach to Rhinoplasty
Complications are rare and usually minor when a rhinoplasty is performed by a qualified Toronto plastic surgeon. While there is always a possibility of complications, including infection, nosebleed, or a reaction to the anesthesia, you can reduce your risk by closely following your surgeon's instructions both before and after surgery.
Please keep in mind that at The Plastic Surgery Clinic, we will fix any problem or treat any complication for free. If you have an unsatisfactory result and we think additional surgery will help solve the issue, we will perform the surgery for free.
After surgery, small burst blood vessels may temporarily or permanently appear as tiny red spots on the skin's surface. When rhinoplasty is performed from inside the nose, no visible scarring will result. However, when an “open” technique is used or the procedure calls for the narrowing of flared nostrils, small scars may appear on the base of the nose.
In about one out of ten cases, a second, usually minor, procedure may be required. For example, a minor deformity may appear after surgery. Such cases are unpredictable and even patients of the most skilled Toronto rhinoplasty surgeons might require a second procedure.
