Many people discover that no matter how many push-ups or arm exercises they do, they cannot eliminate stubborn fat deposits in their upper arms. This can lead to embarrassment and cause people to avoid clothing or situations where their arms are exposed. Feeling forced to wear long sleeves in the summer is an unhappy circumstance. Liposuction is an effective solution to this problem.

Liposuction is a procedure used to sculpt and remodel a patient’s body by getting rid of unwanted fat in specific areas. Liposuction on the arms is normally used to remove fat from the underside of the upper arms in order to create a firm and natural-looking result.

Depending on the amount of fat to be removed and the natural elasticity of the skin, an arm lift to remove excess skin may be recommended as well.

Liposuction in additional areas, such as the upper body (particularly the back), is often combined with arm liposuction for an overall sculpted look.
Liposuction is not a substitute for diet and exercise, or a cure for cellulite. Liposuction, properly used, is a means of removing stubborn fat deposits from specific areas of the body, thus improving the contours of that particular body part.

Experience and Innovation to Improve Patient Outcomes

At The Plastic Surgery Clinic we perform approximately 175 liposuction procedures each year. Dr. Lista, Dr. Ahmad and Dr. Austin make sure that they stay informed about the latest innovations in liposuction techniques so as to provide the safest and most pain-free procedures possible with minimal scarring and the best, most natural-looking results.

The surgeons at The Plastic Surgery Clinic are proud to have helped hundreds of patients in Toronto realize their ideal body image through the targeted removal of fat using liposuction. Recognizing that many individuals feel apprehensive about undergoing liposuction, these surgeons conduct personal consultations, during which time they explain to you exactly how your liposuction is performed and what results it helps achieve. The personalized approach relieves anxiety and helps the surgeons deliver highly satisfying results for all of their cosmetic surgery patients.

Before and After Arm Liposuction Photos

Very soon after your procedure, you will be able to see a difference in the shape and contour of your arms. But that being said, you will continue to see the effects of swelling after your surgery, and so the overall improvement will become more visible around four to six weeks after your operation. The new contour to your arms should be totally visible to you after around three months, as that’s when you can expect any persistent mild swelling to subside.

With realistic expectations about the outcomes that arm liposuction can achieve, you will be pleased with your natural-looking result. Maintaining a regular exercise routine and balanced diet will help you maintain your new contours. We hear from so many patients that they are excited to wear different clothes and feel comfortable in their own skin without wanting to always cover up.

Before and after photos of arm liposuction results can be a helpful research tool if you are considering this procedure. While they do not by any means demonstrate a guaranteed surgical outcome, they are an illustration of some of the transformations we have achieved at our clinic.

How Much Does Arm Liposuction Cost?

Arm liposuction is typically considered to be a cosmetic procedure and, as a result, is not usually covered by OHIP or other provincial health care, nor is it covered by private or corporate benefit plans. We understand that many of us need the support of financing to budget for our bigger investments, which is why we work with MediCard. Their flexible financing plans help make dreams become realities sooner rather than later.

Consultations with our surgeons are always free, and you are not required to make any kind of deposit or down payment during those visits. We want to make sure that you feel no financial pressure to commit to a decision until you have heard accurate medical advice from our expert surgeons. Many different factors can affect the overall cost of surgery. During your free consultation, your surgeon will also be able to give you a firm quote on the price of your arm liposuction procedure.
